"What's that shop over there??" to which the reply was "I might have known you'd pick up on any shop with paper in the title!"
And yes my sister was right; that is exactly what I did pick up on as we wondered around Cabot Circus on my weekend visit to Bristol. I love stumbling across great shops that you don't know existed (although I'm always a little annoyed that I don't own them myself) and Paper, Scissors, Stone was a perfect example. In an area you might not expect to find independent stores, it stocked some really nice prints, home wares and of course cards by local artists. Doing some research to write this, it seems it is the second edition of a pop-up shop (or Artists Temporium as they call it) by Made in Bristol so I am even more glad that I found it as I don't visit that often. Check out the nice bits from among others, Rosalind Howard, Stormy Night and Sarah Dennis. If you happen to be in Bristol before it closes (sometime in July for Vol.2) it's well worth a visit!
